Once the pick-up and return dates/times fields have been filled in and the extras have been selected, the customer then selects the type of vehicle that suits his needs. Subsequently, he/she must enter the contact information. At the end of this process a reservation request will have been made. Bahia/Daily will receive it and as soon as possible we will contact you via email to confirm or reject the reservation request.

At Bahia/Daily we always work with prior reservation. This means that if a user is interested in renting a car, he/she must make the reservation with enough time in advance to be able to respond to his/her request.

Bahia Rent a Car request that the minimum age of the driver be 23 years old and that the driver’s license be more than 2 years old.

Credit card is required for payment, with exceptions debit cards are accepted but in that case a deposit of at least 300€ would be blocked. We do not accept American Express, Maestro, cash, Paypal or wallet cards. We also do not accept payment by mobile devices.

Bahía/Daily does not guarantee under any circumstances the reservation of a specific model, we can only guarantee the category, which will be equal to the requested one or higher. In the case of a lower category, the client will be informed in advance.

To rent a car, an ID card, passport or passport, driver’s license and credit card are required for payment.

Our cars can only circulate in Andalusia. If you are going to travel in the rest of Spain, express authorization from Bahía/Daily is required. Under no circumstances can you leave Spain or visit Ceuta or Melilla. In case of traveling to Gibraltar, we recommend to leave the car in La Línea de la Concepción and cross the border on foot since the delays at the time of departure can be several hours. In addition, finding a place to park in Gibraltar is an impossible task.

Except in special circumstances, where payment would be made in advance due to the reservation of a specific car, payment is made at the moment the client signs the contract and the car is delivered to him/her.

The first thing to do is to contact the Bahia Rent a Car staff. In any case, the number for roadside assistance is in the glove compartment. In the event of an accident, it is vital to contact the emergency services.

Bahia/Daily vehicles may only be driven by authorized persons who are those listed as the main driver or additional driver on the rental contract.

The rental rates include the coverage of the Compulsory Automobile Insurance and the Complementary Civil Liability Insurance for damages to third parties derived from the use and circulation of the vehicle.

It is important to point out that Bahia/Daily are not insurance companies. What is usually called «all risk insurance» is rather the degree of coverage that the client wishes to contract during the rental period.

Bahia/Daily is clearer in this regard and prefers to indicate that we offer a «no excess accident protection insurance option». For more information we recommend reading the «Terms and Conditions«.

Damage to tires, rims, hubcaps, vehicle interior, interior and exterior rear-view mirrors, windows and glass, locks, car underbody, road trips, rollovers, errors in refueling, clutch, engine, crankcase, catalytic converter and radiator, loss, breakage, theft and damage to keys, culpable negligence and misuse of the vehicle, vandalism, rims, vehicle interiors, scratching the car with branches and bushes, staining the car with creams or lotions.

If you wish to make important changes to your reservation it is best to cancel the previous one and make a new reservation.

In case you wish to cancel your reservation we prefer that you send us an email well in advance.

There is no charge for cancellation of a reservation. In special circumstances, if a specific vehicle has been requested, we may ask for a deposit or full payment of the rental amount. In these cases, if the reservation is cancelled within 48 hours prior to the pick-up time, the amount will not be refunded.

As can be read in the «Terms and Conditions«: The correct placement of safety seats for minors is solely and exclusively the responsibility of the legal guardians and the driver/s of the rented vehicle, being Bahia/Daily exempted from such obligation.

To rent a vehicle it is necessary to present your driver’s license, even if you are in the process of renewing it, you are required to present your expired driver’s license.

The first thing to do is to contact Bahia Rent a Car staff during office hours and, in any case, to call the roadside assistance, whose number is located in the glove compartment. Roadside assistance phone number: 933001050.

Generally not, but it all depends on the circumstances at the time. The answer to this question needs a lot of clarification.

The vehicles must be returned where the staff of Bahia/Daily indicates.

As we can read in the «Terms and Conditions«: At the time of the return of the vehicle by the clientele, it is obliged to park it properly and correctly, otherwise, the customer will be responsible for fines, penalties, payment of fees in paid parking lots and towing service. Upon return of the vehicle, it may not be parked under any circumstances in places designated as time-limited parking or in prohibited places.

 

Full-full. When returning the vehicle, it is necessary to leave some proof of having refueled at the nearest gas station. If this is not the case, 10€ will be charged. The fuel used and not refueled will be charged to the card.
